Bloomfield Families, I want to assure you that I'm keeping an eye on the storm and have been communicating with a meteorologist on the expected timing of the storm. At this point, I want to inform you that there is a chance that we will need to end the school day at 2 pm. This has NOT been decided yet, I just want to share that it is a possibility and the decision will be made tomorrow morning after further conversations and predictions in a conversation with a meteorologist. Bloomfield Families, As of right now, the exciting news is that we plan to be back in school tomorrow, February 2. However, the plan is to operate on a two hour delay. I know that some areas are still not passable for a school bus, if you live in an affected area then your child's bus driver will contact you if they have not already. Bloomfield Families, Unfortunately some county roads have drifted back over making several areas within our district unsafe for transporting students. Tomorrow, January 30 we will not have school again. I am anxious to be back in school with our students but the decision was made with the safety of our students in mind. We will not be eLearning tomorrow but rather will apply for a flexibility waiver for the day. Once the DOE responds to the waiver request, I will notify everyone of any changes or the lack of changes to our school calendar. Thank you for your support and understanding. Middle-High School Students and Families, Here is a message from Dr. Goad: Due to the weather related eLearning Days this week, our Final Exam schedule has been altered. Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17th all MSHS students should report to Advisory at the beginning of the day where they will receive the new schedule. Please be prepared for Finals tomorrow in 2nd, 3rd, and 7th periods.

Bloomfield Families, Unfortunately, many county roads are still in poor condition and freezing is expected overnight. Therefore, we will have to continue with another synchronous eLearning days. Therefore forecast should be good early afternoon with temperatures rising that will hopefully clear many of the roads for us. The principal's and teachers will share schedules and assignments.
