Dr. Tony Bennett, Superintendent of Indiana Schools visited Bloomfield Jr/Sr High School on February 21st. According to Dr. Bennett, "It's obvious when you walk into Bloomfield that the focus is on how do we make sure children are prepared for the 21st century...."  Watch Video

Bloomfield School District has the third highest graduation rate in the state of Indiana for 2011.  The graduation rate for 2011 was 97.1%, up one percent from 2010 and up from a seventh place ranking in 2010.

Bloomfield School District is located in Richland, Taylor, and Highland townships in Greene County, Indiana, borders the West Fork of the White River to the west. Bloomfield is the county seat of Greene County.

Bloomfield School District includes grades Kindergarten through grade 12. It is unique due to the educational facilities being connected by hallways giving opportunities for shared learning experiences across grade levels. Our graduates have varied chances for higher learning due to close proximity of Indiana University, Indiana State University, Vincennes University, and two campuses of Ivy Tech. Classes are also available for adults and students at the Area Learning Center located within ten minutes.
