The students of Bloomfield Jr.-Sr. High School assist the community in upgrading the local landscape. Visitors to Bloomfield are greeted by a series of murals on the commute into town from the east. The walls of a former business provide the canvas for the murals. Bloomfield Jr.-Sr. High School students donated their creative talents to create the murals. Additionally, the Bloomfield Jr.-Sr. High School Art Club has also created murals at the Bloomfield Pool and Bloomfield American Legion Post. The décor of the Santa House spreading holiday cheer to the community was also result of the creative talents of the Bloomfield Jr.-Sr. High School Art Club. The Bloomfield Art classes also assisted the Family and Consumer Sciences Department by creating pottery bowls and selling the bowls filled with soup as a fundraiser for the local soup kitchen. The curriculum and course offerings at Bloomfield Elementary and Bloomfield Jr.-Sr. High School assist students in developing their creative talents.
