NHS and NJHS

Bloomfield's NHS and NJHS will be sponsoring a concert featuring Garrett Godsey. Garrett is an up and coming teen Christian music artist from Indiana. His original songs, "Digital Demon" and "Hope Hold On", confront major issues that are plaguing teens, and the music video to "Digital Demon" is being shown in schools, churches and youth gatherings as far away as South Africa. Garrett has been an opening act in concerts that have included Blessid Union of Souls, PureNRG, Mission 6, Jonnie and Brookie (Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing”), the Rubyz and Saving Jane. 2011 looks to be a breakout year as Garrett, who just turned 15 years old, is going to be the headline act at the Monroe and Lawrence County fairs and other events. The concert will take place on Thursday, May 19th at 7:00 pm in the Glover Gym. Admission is free! Donations will be taken at the door and concessions will be sold. Proceeds will benefit "Autism Speaks" and Bloomfield scholarships for this years Seniors.
