As a superintendent of Bloomfield School District, my goal is to provide an environment in which students can be successful. In creating this environment, I want to create an atmosphere in which students feel safe, secure, and welcome. It is my job to make sure the district remains on firm financial footing enabling students to have the resources needed to be successful. As the chief executive officer, I must hire and train personnel to create the environment in which students can succeed. I believe each parent and child are valued customers. So, I must provide customer service and communication creating a successful educational environment. The goal is to train students to value education and become life long learners.

As an administrator of Bloomfield Elementary School, my main purpose is to provide the necessary cornerstone for a solid educational foundation. I believe that children should learn in an environment enriched with literature, exploration, self-discovery, peer tutoring, and guided instruction. I strive each day for the students at Bloomfield Elementary to leave school knowing they are important people who can achieve any goals they set for themselves.

As assistant principal at Bloomfield Jr/Sr High School, I am lucky to have a student and teacher contact every day. Working together with the teachers to find ways to make our school a success is exciting. Every day there brings something new and we are often challenged to help students in difficult situations find ways to move forward and take the next step in completing their high school diploma, as well as helping them to find their way as they become adults.
It is an honor and privilege to be an educator. I strive each day and with each student interaction to set an example so students will understand the opportunities that having an education will offer.

As a long time educator in the Bloomfield School District, I have taught elementary P.E., junior high English, Science, Novels, Math, and P.E., and high school Driver’s Education. My coaching experience, all at Bloomfield, has been at the varsity level for both the boys and girls, as well as other levels of boys’ sports. I am presently serving as Athletic Director for Bloomfield Elementary, Jr/Sr High School and teaching seventh grade Novels.
